Terminals 1 and 2 are connected to the Pier by 1,300 meters of 8 ducts. Two of them measuring 13” and 10” are made of carbon steel. And two 12” duct, one 10”, one of 8”, and two of 6” all made of AISI 316L stainless steel.

There is also a 3” stainless steel service pipeline used for pipeline pigging with pressurized air and nitrogen.

Pier Characteristics

244 meters between mooring bollards;
Capacity for 2 vessels of 50,000DWT operating simultaneously;
39 feet (12 meters) outer berth for 120m to 235m of L.O.A. vessels;
34 feet (10,4 meters) inner berth for 100m to 180m of L.O.A. vessels;
Cathodic Protection System for avoiding corrosion on submersed metallic parts;
Salt water collecting system for fire control;

Operational Control Room

The purpose of the Operational Control Room is to provide the Operational field Team with all the facilities they require to execute the full scope of loading/unloading control activities, and to prevent possible risks. It also counts with a 24 hours bilingual staff to accompany operations like:

Pipeline inner pressure;
Video surveillance control of premises and products;
Remote valve security control;
Constantly updated reports on line showing transparency in all operations;
